On January 29, 2021, Ms Sofia Marchiafava gave the presentation "Regulation profiles and practices on European Small Claims Procedures" during the webinar "European Small Claims Procedure", organized by the BAR of Rome, IT Commission "Project Structure and European Funds".

The European Small Claims Procedure was established by Regulation (EC) no. 861/2007 of 11 July 2007, later amended by Regulation (EU) no. 2421/2015 of 16 December 2015.

Throughout the webinar, all the speakers stressed the value of this simplified procedure for the resolution of small-scale cross-border disputes (up to € 5,000.00) and the need to promote its knowledge.
